About T/ACO

On a warm summer day it doesn’t get much better than sitting at the outside bar at T/ACO with a few tacos and your favorite margarita. The taqueria born from Peter Waters vision for an authentic taco joint combining quality tacos and heavy pour margaritas in the heart of Boulder opened it’s doors 10 years ago and has been a fan favorite ever since. While the restaurant may be small in stature, it well makes up for it in ambiance and flavor. All tortillas are made fresh daily on the same model tortilla press used in the village where the majority of the back of house employees hail from. The menu includes traditional tacos such as the carne asada and pork belly tacos along with more uncommon choices such as their ahi Tuna, Cotija taco with grilled cotija cheese, and the duck taco topped with verde mole, cracklings, crèma, cabbage and avocado. Expertly paired with the menu is the margarita list brimming with not just salt, but fresh fruit juices, house made syrups and tops shelf tequila.
