First Bite has moved far beyond the typical “Restaurant Week” model of attracting only one-time diners for an annual event. It has become a thread connecting diners to the restaurant community all year long. The First Bite diners are invested in who you are, what you’re serving, and where the ingredients came from. We are a resource for diners throughout the year, promoting exciting events and engaging opportunities for them to connect with you further. To further this evolution, First Bite has established three ways you can choose to engage with our network:

As a Featured Restaurant, you’ll have exclusive access to multiple opportunities to tell your story in a curated and powerful way. Through photography, blog posts, podcasts, long-form articles and more, First Bite will give your restaurant the spotlight it deserves for an eager audience.

Our Annual Partner Restaurants will get a full year of our attention and promotion. It’s vital that the diners you garner during First Bite are reminded to come back, and our annual program will keep them thinking of you and coming back time and again. Through our powerful social media presence, regular monthly newsletters and in community opportunities, First Bite will highlight the exciting events, news and happenings of your restaurant all year long.

First Bite is an exciting 10-days that brings together the community to celebrate the Boulder dining scene. As a participant in First Bite, you’ll get access to our unique marketing tool to attract new and engaged patrons from across the Front Range. (Program run is August 1 – October 9)

  • Printed Materials — Posters and bill inserts provided to all participating restaurants, as well as dozens of local retailers.
  • Website Presence — Huge traffic to the website at firstbiteboulder.com, with menus, reservations, and other online partnerships.
  • Extensive PR Campaign — Extensive event coverage from print, radio and television media.
  • Social Media Campaign — Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter with ongoing personalized posts for all participating restaurants, including announcements of menus dinner giveaways, and other promotions.
  • Digital Advertising — Dynamic digital advertising campaign on local media outlets and custom mapping.
  • Print Advertising — Full color print advertising campaign for 6 weeks prior to event.
  • Community Outreach — Grassroots marketing through local retailers, sponsor/partner organizations, and community contact lists.
  • Partnerships — Partner with brand-aligned companies to add dimension to the week.
